“Following the success of the first European Sport Concussion Conference (ESCC) in Nice in 2026, the second edition will take place from June 9 to 11, 2027, building on the momentum of European collaboration established during the inaugural conference.

ESCC 2027 reaffirms its ambition to further strengthen the international and collaborative dimension of the congress. The scientific program is designed to remain dynamic, inclusive, and closely aligned with current clinical and research developments in sport-related concussions.

As part of this commitment, a new initiative will be launched for this edition with an open call for proposals for sessions dedicated to European countries, aiming to enhance diversity and integrate multiple perspectives into the scientific program.

The conference will once again bring together researchers, clinicians, healthcare professionals, and sports stakeholders to discuss the latest advancements in the prevention, diagnosis, and management of sport-related concussions. Key themes will include diagnostic innovations, therapeutic strategies, rehabilitation approaches, and medium- to long-term outcomes for athletes.

ESCC 2027 continues its mission to unite the scientific and sporting communities under the shared goal of improving athlete safety and advancing the understanding of sport-related brain injuries.
